The Linhay is a detached holiday cottage and provides well-appointed spacious self-catering accommodation. It has 3 bedrooms, and will comfortably sleep five adults plus a baby.

Just outside Bampton, Devon, situated in a quiet country lane near our 17th Century Devon longhouse, one of our traditional old stone barns has been converted into a well appointed comfortable cottage.

Located amidst beautiful Devon countryside, The Linhay is close to the Exmoor National Park and within easy reach of the beautiful coastline - the long sandy beaches of Devon and the rugged cliffs of Somerset.

The Linhay is ideal for activity and family holidays; there is a wide variety of things to do, places to visit regardless of the weather. The quiet lanes provide miles of peaceful walking and cycling; and we have secure storage for cycles.

No smoking is allowed in The Linhay.
We welcome well-behaved dogs.

The Linhay is independently run by the owners Sue and Oliver, who are on hand to welcome you and give help and advice about the area including the best walks and routes for trips and outings.

Around The Linhay there is plenty of private parking, fenced play area, 8 acres of fields and woods to explore with a rich variety of wildlife; buzzards, woodpeckers, herons, kingfishers, otters, owls, badgers, foxes, rabbits and the sort of farm animals you'd expect like sheep, cows, horses, hens and geese in the fields around.
